Abstract

Perubahan kurikulum dari tahun ke tahun yang dilakukan oleh pemerintah untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di Indonesia serta upaya dalam memastikan bahwa sistem pendidikan selalu relevan dengan kebutuhan zaman dan mampu mencetak generasi yang kompeten, terkadang penerapannya tidak selalu sesuai dengan yang diharapkan (Susianita, 2014). Banyaknya siswa dan pendidik yang masih mengalami kebingungan karena harus beradaptasi dengan adanya perubahan sistem belajar yang cukup signifikan. Kurikulum baru sering kali menghadirkan tantangan yang baru pula. Kondisi ini menuntut kesiapan siswa dalam menghadapi perubahan, termasuk kemampuan untuk menyesuaikan diri agar tidak tertinggal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada atau tidaknya hubungan antara efikasi diri akademik dengan penyesuaian diri akademik siswa kelas X SMA di Gresik. Jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan korelasional. Responden penelitian ini merupakan siswa kelas X SMAN 1 Driyorejo Gresik sebanyak 210 siswa. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya korelasi antara efikasi diri akademik dengan penyesuaian diri Rxy sebesar 0,178. Terdapat hubungan positif antara Efikasi Diri Akademik dengan Penyesuaian Diri dimana nilai signifikansi p = 0,000 (p<0,05).
