Abstract

The development of information technology has opened up new opportunities in the management of the education system, one of which is the implementation of competency certification tests. This study aims to design and develop an online-based competency certification test implementation information system that is effective, efficient, and can be flexibly accessed by users, both test participants and administrators. This system is designed to overcome various challenges in implementing conventional exams, such as limited space, time efficiency, and the need for fast test result data processing. Therefore, it is hoped that there will be a system that can facilitate the registration and implementation of the professional competency test, one of which is by creating a website-based competency certification test implementation information system, so that registration and exam implementation activities that were initially carried out face-to-face can be carried out online. The Professional Certification Institute (LSP) information system allows prospective competency certification test participants to carry out registration activities online and carry out certification tests online. The creation of a professional certification institution information system is a website created using the PHP programming language with the Laravel 8 framework.
