Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of characteristics, company performance, and disclosure of sustainability reports on the value of development (construction) sub-sector companies in development (construction) sub-sector companies listed on the 2020-2023 Indonesia Stock Exchange. This research was conducted to gain a deeper understanding of how company characteristics, company performance and sustainability disclosures influence company value. The research method is descriptive quantitative because it refers to the calculation of data in numerical form or numbers processed using statistical and analytical methods. The object of this research is a construction company listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange. During the research period, there were 12 construction companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2020-2023 period. The sampling technique used in this research is Purposive Sampling. Data collection was carried out using documentation techniques obtained from the official website of the Indonesia Stock Exchange and official company websites to obtain data regarding financial reports that have been published by the company. The results of this research state that the accepted company performance hypothesis or company performance has a significant and positive influence on company value. Meanwhile, for company characteristics and sustainability report disclosure, the hypothesis was rejected because the resulting p value exceeded the standard value so that company characteristics and sustainability report disclosure did not have a significant effect on company value. This research has limitations due to several things, firstly because it uses construction sub-sector companies. The second limitation is the limited data and time period, as well as limited disclosure of sustainability reports which are not explained in detail in the sustainability report. Results can be different when the company taken is a manufacturing company in another sub-sector or by increasing the variables.
