Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in improving the quality of ship repair services at PT Ganesha Energi Indonesia. SOPs are important guidelines to ensure operational processes run consistently, efficiently, and according to standards. Compliance audits are used to assess the effectiveness of SOP implementation, identify weaknesses, and provide recommendations for improvement. This research method uses a qualitative approach through interviews, observations, and document analysis. Data was obtained from various key informants, including commissioners, directors, and technical staff of the company. The results showed that the implementation of the SOP at PT Ganesha Energi Indonesia was not optimal. The main obstacles include employees' lack of understanding of the SOPs, weak internal controls, and limited training. The compliance audit successfully identified these problems and provided recommendations, such as improving employee training, strengthening supervision, and optimizing the use of modern technology. The implementation of compliance auditing has proven to have a significant impact on improving service quality, especially in ensuring operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. This study concludes that compliance auditing is an effective tool to support the implementation of SOPs and improve service quality. The results of this study are expected to be a reference for companies in improving compliance with SOPs and operational efficiency in the ship repair service industry.
