Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between Self-efficacy and Social Support with Loneliness in Single Women in Early Adulthood. The hypothesis proposed in this study is that there is a negative relationship between Self-efficacy and Social Support with Loneliness. This study design uses a quantitative research method. This study involved 150 respondents selected using a purposive sampling method. Based on the calculation of the first hypothesis test analysis with Spearman rho analysis, a correlation value (r) of -0.915 was obtained with a significance value of 0.000 (p <0.01) which means that there is a negative relationship between social support and loneliness in single women in early adulthood. This means that the higher the social support, the lower the loneliness, conversely, the lower the social support in a person, the higher the loneliness experienced by a person. The results of the second hypothesis test with Spearman rho analysis, a correlation value (r) of 0.827 was obtained with a significance value of 0.000 (p <0.01) which means that there is a positive relationship between self-efficacy and loneliness in single women in early adulthood. This means that the higher a person's self-efficacy, the higher the person's loneliness, conversely, the lower a person's self-efficacy, the lower the person's level of loneliness.
