Abstract

Phubbing merupakan perilaku individu fokus pada smartphone saat berlangsungnya intraksi tatap muka menyebabkan tindakan pengabaian pada orang lain, yang dikenal dengan istilah phubbing. Siswa yang memiliki tingkat phubbing yang tinggi akan lebih sering menggunakan smartphone ketika berintraksi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara avoidant attachment style dan Self regulation dengan phubbing pada remaja Kota Ketapang. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada 265 responden yang bersekolah di SMAN 02 Ketapang dengan teknik simple rondom sampling. Instrumen penelitian meliputi skala Phubbing mengacu pada teori Karadag dkk (2015), skala avoidant attachment style mengacu pada teori Hazan & Shaver (1987), skala Self regulation mengacu pada teori Novak & Clayton (2001). Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa avoidant attachment style dan Self regulation memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap phubbing. Avoidant attachment style memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan positif sedangkan Self regulation memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan negatif.
