Abstract

The increase in economic activity in urban areas often poses new challenges in transportation management, particularly regarding parking. On Panglima Sudirman Street, Bojonegoro Regency, on-street parking has caused a decline in the road's service level. This study aims to analyze changes in road capacity, the impact on road performance, and the effect of shifting on-street parking to off-street parking on the increase in Regional Original Revenue (PAD). This research employs a quantitative approach with descriptive and comparative analysis methods to evaluate road performance before and after the parking transition. The findings reveal that the shift from on-street to off-street parking on Panglima Sudirman Street increased road capacity by 290 pcu/hour, from 2,639 pcu/hour to 2,929 pcu/hour. The Level of Service (LOS) improved from 0.48 to 0.44, accompanied by an increase in the average vehicle speed from 35 km/hour to 43 km/hour. Additionally, PAD from the parking sector increased by IDR 165,436,250.00 or 43%, due to the higher parking space availability in off-street facilities.
