Abstract

Magetan Regency, located in East Java Province, Indonesia, possesses significant tourism, cultural, and natural resource potential that supports the community's livelihood. To enhance accessibility to Magetan Regency, good and comfortable road infrastructure is essential to attract more tourists. One of the critical access points is the Maospati – Bts. Kota Magetan Road (KM. SBY. 180+040 – 189+940), spanning 9.8 km. Given the increasing traffic and usage, evaluating the road conditions is crucial to meet public expectations and support regional development. This study aims to identify the surface conditions of the road using two methods: the Surface Distress Index (SDI) and the Bina Marga Method. Data used includes road damages such as cracks, potholes, patches, and surface wear, collected through field surveys. The analysis seeks to comprehensively assess the road conditions, classify the types of damage, and recommend appropriate repair measures based on technical standards.The analysis results indicate that the road condition, based on the SDI method, falls under the good category, with an average SDI value of <50. Meanwhile, the Bina Marga Method shows an average Priority Order (UP) value of 9, suggesting the need for routine maintenance. Recommended repairs include Pothole Patching, Slurry Seal, and Sealing, with an estimated total cost of Rp 333,468,376.00. These measures are expected to restore road conditions and enhance the quality of transportation infrastructure services in Magetan Regency
