Abstract
The banking sector is one sector that is expected to have quite bright prospects in the future, because currently the daily activities of Indonesian people cannot be separated from banking services. Banking companies are also companies that have a fairly large contribution to state income. Apart from that, many banks have gone public, making it easier to see the financial position and performance of a bank. This research was conducted with the aim of determining the influence of Company Size, Audit Opinion, and Public Accounting Firm Size on Audit Delay in banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. There are 47 companies in the population, after carrying out a purposive sampling technique according to predetermined criteria, there are 43 companies in the sample in this research. The data used in this research is secondary data from audited financial reports for 2020- 2023. This research is quantitative research to determine the relationship between independent variables and the dependent variable, so this research uses a hypothetical sample. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. The method used is descriptive statistics, classical assumptions by assessing normality, multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity and autocorrelation. Hypothesis testing uses partial tests and simultaneous tests. The results of this research show that the Company Size variable has a positive and significant influence on Audit Delay, the Audit Opinion variable has a positive and significant influence on Audit Delay, the Public Accounting Firm Size variable has a positive and significant influence on Audit Delay.
