Abstract

Earned Value Management (EVM) is a widely used method for monitoring project performance and progress based on the integration of cost, schedule, and scope of work. The research is conducted to determine performance index values and estimate the cost and time for completing the work. For example, in week 25, the BCWS value for week 25 is IDR 10,626,672,963.78. As another example, the BCWP for week 25 is IDR 10,311,191,448.88, and the ACWP value for week 25 is IDR 8,574,115,115.23, with a realization weight of 96.908%. The CV or Cost Variance is IDR 1,737,076,333.65. This positive value proves that the actual cost of the work achieved is smaller compared to the planned cost. The SV (Schedule Variance) is -IDR 315,481,514.90, and the negative value indicates that the achieved project work is less than the planned work. The schedule performance shows a delay when looking at the report for week 25, where, based on the Schedule Variance (SV) value of -IDR 315,481,514.90, the negative SV value shows that the project execution time is slower than the planned time. Meanwhile, the Schedule Performance Index (SPI) is 0.970, and the Cost Performance Index (CPI) is 1.203. Based on the project data analysis using the Earned Value method conducted in week 25, the remaining cost, Budget Estimate to Completion (BETC), is IDR 273,570,437.28, and the estimated total project cost, Budget Estimate at Completion (BEAC), is IDR 8,847,685,552.51. These calculations show that the project execution cost is lower than the contract value, which is IDR 10,640,186,000.00. In conclusion, EVM has proven to be an effective project management tool for enhancing transparency and decision-making in construction project management.
