Abstract

In carrying out construction work, the construction supervision or management function is a benchmark for whether the construction work is running effectively and efficiently or vice versa. In the implementation of cases that often occur, it is often found that a project experiences budget overruns and schedule delays, due to deviations from several factors. Therefore, it is necessary to control so that deviations can be overcome and evaluated together. The success of a project cannot be separated from a series of management activities including the stages of planning, organization, implementation, control and supervision. The aim of this research is to determine the cost components. Schedule component, knowing the project performance index from SPI and CPI. This research was carried out using the concept analysis method of Earned Value which can be seen from the performance of the activities carried out and can increase effectiveness and efficiency as well as carry out evaluations in monitoring project activities. The results of this research are after analyzing the cost and schedule components of 9 embung rehabilitation works in the Brantas WS. One of the results that was applied to one of the reservoirs was that the Kerjen Embung experienced additional costs from the plan amounting to Rp. 15,816,784,- and the schedule delay was in the initial period with an SPI value of 0.66. The additional cost factor is from analysis, the CPI value is 1.10. The same applies to 8 other reservoirs, the results of which can be seen at the end of this thesis chapter. Delays can occur due to various factors in the field, such as late arrival of materials, difficult terrain factors, or if viewed from additional costs due to changes in the basic price of materials, changes in volume from the planned volume, and so on.
