Abstract
Assessment of the road surface of the Kemlagi – Beratkulon section is one of the sections in Mojokerto district with a length of 3,637 km and has a combined type of rigid pavement and flexible pavement. This road section is a connecting section between Mojokerto district and Gresik district, and the current condition is not good, so a study is needed to measure how big the impact is. This research method is intended to measure road feel on the Kemlagi - Beratkulon section, using the International Roughness Index (IRI) and Surface Distress Index (SDI) methods. From the results obtained, the highest e-IRI value is 1.75 at STA 1+900 – 2+000 with the IRI value being in "GOOD" condition. Because the IRI value is < 4. The SDI value is at STA 1+900 – 2+200 in the condition of "SEVERE DAMAGE". Because the SDI value is >150. The relationship between the IRI and SDI methods can be seen from the correlation value y= 80.855x – 49.235 with the coefficient value. A correlation of 0.2985 is stated as a weak relationship level, because the IRI value is lower than the SDI. In the planned budget for road maintenance work on the Kemlagi – Beratkulon road, it is IDR. 1,351,908,452.00.
