Abstract

The delay in the start of a project is the main problem carried out by the project implementer of SMPN 2 Pasongsongan, Sumenep Regency, so that it experienced a delay in the 16th week due to several weather factors such as erratic weather and the volume of the building was not according to the plan so that a recalculation was carried out. This study analyzes the costs and time that occur due to the addition of working hours and additional labor by using the crashing method to accelerate the completion of the project according to the plan. Based on the analysis carried out, this study also provides solutions to overcome it. The results of the analysis of the SMPN 2 Pasongsongan project were obtained as a result of adding working hours (overtime) so that rescheduling was carried out using the Microsoft project 2016 assistance program can be known the normal time of the duration according to the contract. On scheduling normal conditions for 150 working days. Scheduling using the crashing method can accelerate the duration to 140 days with an acceleration of 10 days and an increase in project costs of Rp. 21,566,522.00 so that the SMPN 2 Pasongsongan Facility and Infrastructure Construction project which was initially with a normal budget of Rp. 1,684,240,000.00 due to the crashing method became Rp. 1,705,806,522.00.
