Abstract

UMKM Silurus merupakan usaha budidaya ikan lele dumbo yang telah beroperasi sejak 2019, menggunakan metode bioflok untuk meningkatkan efisiensi panen. Namun, kendala utama yang dihadapi adalah naiknya harga pakan ikan, sehingga mengurangi frekuensi pemberian pakan dan memperpanjang masa panen hingga 3,5–4 bulan. Sebagai solusi, penelitian ini mengusulkan perancangan mesin pencetak pelet pakan ikan lele berbasis data antropometri pekerja untuk memastikan aspek ergonomi. Mesin ini dirancang untuk memanfaatkan bahan baku limbah lokal, seperti ampas tahu dan dedak, yang tersedia secara gratis atau dengan biaya rendah. Hasil uji coba menunjukkan mesin dapat memproduksi 3 kg pelet per siklus dengan rata-rata waktu 74 detik. Analisis biaya produksi mencatat total pengeluaran Rp2.365.625 per panen dengan kapasitas produksi 50 kg, menghasilkan harga pokok produksi (HPP) Rp47.312 per kilogram. Dengan implementasi mesin ini, UMKM Silurus dapat menekan biaya pakan, meningkatkan efisiensi produksi, dan mendukung keberlanjutan usaha. Penelitian ini memberikan solusi praktis bagi UMKM serupa untuk mengatasi biaya operasional melalui inovasi teknologi yang terjangkau dan ramah lingkungan.
