Abstract

Occupational Safety and Health (K3) in a construction project is very important, without the existence of Occupational Safety and Health (K3) in construction projects it will be very dangerous and can increase the accident rate in construction projects. The HIRARC (Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Risk Control) method used in this study, is a series of stages carried out to identify hazards that can occur in an activity and assess the risk level of the hazard. The construction project of the Rubaru I Elementary School Building in Sumenep Regency has 10 work items, the analysis process carried out by the HIRARC method has 6 potential hazards in the large risk category, 3 potential hazards in the high risk category, 6 potential hazards in the medium risk category, 7 potential hazards in the low category. There are 3 stages of control efforts that can be carried out, namely Adimistrative, Engineering control and the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in each work process. The estimated cost needed for occupational safety and health is Rp. 29,275,000.00 ( twenty-nine million two hundred and seventy�five thousand rupiah ).
