Abstract

Transportation is the most important part that cannot be separated from human life, transportation has an important role in various aspects ranging from socio-cultural, economic, technical, political and defence and legal aspects. Road is one of the means of transportation that can have a positive impact on the development and progress of an area. A good road can certainly reduce travel time which results in reduced Vehicle Operating Costs (BOK). The purpose of this study was to determine the performance of road sections based on their function in Bobonaro District, Regency to obtain vehicle operational costs (BOK) for light vehicles needed for road users on the Maliana - Bobonaro road section by obtaining an economic analysis of the road section using the NPV, BCR method. And the existing BEP is for analyzing road calculations in Maliana - Bobonaro District. Based on the performance calculation results for the Maliana – Bobonaro road section with Capacity C = 2735.85 km/hour, Degree of Saturation 0.235, and 0.195 with Level of service in categories A and B showing decent results, by getting an existing BOK in the Maliana – Bobonaro direction of 30,611 ,83016 / km while the BOK plan for the Maliana – Bobonaro direction is 10,621.34996/ km and vice versa. while for economic analysis uses the NPV, BCR and BEP methods, the results of the calculation of the 10-year Road Plan Age are getting an NPV value of Rp. 26,203,509,092> 0 for the direction of Maliana - Bobonaro and the reverse direction getting an NPV value of Rp. 25,782,492,721> 0 and the value is positive which means that the Road Construction Project is economically feasible. Getting a BCR value of 1.040207> 1 for the direction of Maliana - Bobonaro and vice versa gets a BCR value of 1.040890829> 1 and the value is positive which means that the Road Construction Project is economically feasible. The results of the Break Event Point (BEP) calculation have shown the return of the project capital in the 4th year after the development process is carried out where the value of the Cost incurred against the value of the Benefit obtained is in balance.
