Abstract
Perkembangan teknologi yang pesat dalam berbagai bidang seperti robotika, mekatronika, semikonduktor, dan pembuatan prototipe telah membawa perubahan signifikan. Salah satu dari kemajuan ini adalah meningkatnya minat dan kebutuhan akan prototipe kapal cepat tanpa awak. Penelitian ini berfokus pada penggunaan metode Lost PLA Casting dalam pembuatan propeller untuk kapal cepat tanpa awak. Metode ini memungkinkan memproduksi komponen kompleks dengan tingkat ke presisian yang tinggi dan dengan jumlah banyak, desain propeller dicetak dengan 3D printing menggunakan bahan PLA (Polylactid Acid) sebagai pola cetakan. Penelitian ini secara khusus mengeksplorasi pengaruh penggunaan alat vakum yang di variasi kan yaitu 0,3 bar, 0,6 bar, 0,9 bar dan tanpa alat vakum dengan temperatur tuang pada 250°C, 275°C,300°C menggunakan bahan timah, dengan analisis cacat pada produk. Secara keseluruhan hasil pengamatan pada produk menunjukkan masih ada cacat porositas rongga gas tetapi pada tekanan alat vakum 0,9 bar dengan temperatur tuang 250°C,275°C,300°C memiliki produk yang lebih baik dan pada tekanan alat vakum 0,3 bar, 0,6 bar dan tanpa alat vakum dengan temperatur tuang 250°C,275°C,300°C masih memiliki cacat seperti cacat oksidasi, cacat salah alir, cacat retakan. Sehingga penggunaan alat vakum yang di variasikan tidak berpengaruh pada produk dan temperatur tuang tidak begitu berbeda sampai pada penggunaan alat vakum.
