Abstract
Quality and sustainable pavement plays a very important role in transportation infrastructure, as it can significantly improve connectivity and community mobility. This research has three main objectives related to pavement planning on the Teluk Semanting-Kp. Kasai road section in Berau Regency. This research method uses a quantitative approach by analyzing data in accordance with the guidelines listed in the 2017 Road Pavement Design Manual and AASHTHO 1993. The research location is Teluk Semanting and Kasai villages in Berau Regency. From the analysis, the technical road planning for the Teluk Semating Kp. Kasai road section in Berau Regency using the MDP 2017 method and the AASHTO 1993 Method resulted in crucial findings for sustainable road infrastructure development. With a focus on Traffic Growth Factor (R), traffic load distribution, subgrade characteristics, and pavement structure reliability, the MDP 2017 analysis shows the project has a plan life of 38 years with traffic growth of 3.5% per year. Meanwhile, the 1993 AASHTO analysis gives a Structural Number (SN) of 4.3 with a pavement layer thickness that meets technical and economic requirements, providing a technical basis for efficient pavement design. The construction plan of Teluk Semanting - Kasai Village Road in Derawan Island District has an implementation duration of 7 months or 28 weeks. In the schedule, the allocation of weight (%) for each week reflects the level of significance and complexity of the work. In the first month, the weight starts at 0.55% and increases gradually until it reaches a peak in week 16 with a weight of 4.85%. The peak of work intensity occurs in week 27, signaling the possible installation stage of key elements or critical phases in the project.
