Abstract

Toll roads are land transportation infrastructure that is very important as a fast connection between regions. The government is building toll roads in various regions in Indonesia to realize economic acceleration and minimize economic inequality in society. Considering that many development projects are surrounded by problems related to delays, this can be detrimental to the company according to the facts that occur in the field. The aim of this research is to optimize the costs and time to accelerate the Probolinggo – Banyuwangi Toll Road construction project package 3 STA 29+600 - 45+800 Paiton – Besuki section using the Crashing method. The case study in this research takes the Probolinggo-Banyuwangi Toll Road construction project package 3 STA 29+600-45+800. This research uses secondary data, namely the Draft Expenditure Budget (RAB), Schedule, weekly reports, and project costs for the completion of Toll Road construction work. The data collection method was carried out using observation and documentation methods. The research data analysis technique uses the Crashing method. After accelerating using the Crashing method, we were able to identify the critical path. Through this critical path, it can be accelerated by 36 days from 394 days to 358 days with additional costs due to acceleration amounting to IDR 72,941,450,191.64.
