Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji hubungan antara regulasi emosi, dukungan sosial, dan agresivitas verbal pada mahasiswa generasi Z, khususnya di Fakultas Psikologi Universitas 17 Agustus 1945 Surabaya angkatan 2021. Sebanyak 283 responden dilibatkan melalui kuisioner yang disebarkan menggunakan Google Form dalam kurun waktu satu bulan. Menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda, penelitian ini mengajukan tiga hipotesis yang semuanya ditolak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa regulasi emosi dan dukungan sosial bersama-sama hanya memberikan kontribusi minimal (0,6%) terhadap agresivitas verbal. Uji F dan uji t menunjukkan tidak adanya hubungan signifikan antara regulasi emosi dengan agresivitas verbal, serta dukungan sosial dengan agresivitas verbal. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa agresivitas verbal lebih dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor lain, seperti kepribadian, pola komunikasi, dan lingkungan sosial, yang tidak diukur dalam penelitian ini.
