Abstract
This study aims to analyze the influence of local real income, capital expenditure and employee expenditure on the level of regional financial independence in districts/cities in East Java Province in 2020-2023. This research was conducted with a quantitative approach, using secondary data in the form of reports on the realization of the regional revenue and expenditure budget (APBD) obtained through the official website of the Directorate General of Financial Balance (DJPK). The population of this study is 38 districts/cities in East Java Province in 2020-2023. The sampling technique uses saturated samples so that 152 samples are obtained. Data analysis using IBM SPSS 25 software. The results of the study show that partially the local revenue has a significant effect on the level of regional financial independence, capital expenditure has no significant effect on the level of regional financial independence and employee expenditure has a significant effect on the level of regional financial independence.
