Abstract

Angka jumlah penduduk yang semakin meningkat, serta tingginya angka para pekerja industri setiap tahun di Kota Pasuruan, mengakibatkan kebutuhan hunian makin meningkat pula. Alhasil diperlukannya kebutuhan hunian bagi para pekerja industri yang tinggal di Kota Pasuruan. Kebutuhan hunian ini juga merupakan rencana dari pemerintah Kota Pasuruan dalam salah satu pengembangan permukiman yaitu meningkatnya pembangunan rusunawa. Hal tersebut bertujuan selain mengatasi permasalahan dalam kebutuhan hunian, juga dapat menaikkan kualitas hidup dari para pekerja industri. Metode yang digunakan pada penulisan jurnal ini yaitu dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif dan kualitatif, sehingga dapat menghasilkan data-data yang deskriptif berupa rencana penerapan tema antara manusia dengan alam pada rancangan rusunawa bagi para pekerja industri. Hunian vertikal atau rusunawa ini merupakan tempat dimana permukiman sebagai suatu pondasi utama yang didukung oleh fasilitas, serta sarana dan prasarana di dalam rusunawa tersebut. Dengan menerapkan rencana pendekatan Arsitektur Biofilik pada rusunawa ini, nantinya diwujudkan melalui orientasi pada bangunan, serta memperhatikan kesehatan dan psikologi dari pengguna rusunawa dengan alam serta berbagai aspek, baik secara visual maupun non visual yang dapat memberikan dampak bagi para pekerja industri pada saat menempati rusunawa tersebut.
