Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between School Climate and the tendency of bullying behavior in junior high school students in Surabaya. This study uses a correlational quantitative method using cluster random sampling technique. The population in this study were all public junior high school students in Surabaya with as many participants as 447 students. Hypothesis test analysis using Pearson product moment correlation. The results of this study showed the correlation coefficient (rxy) of -0.516 with a significance of 0.000 (p<0.001), indicating that there is a significant relationship between School Climate and the tendency of bullying behavior in junior high school students in Surabaya. That is, the higher the School Climate, the lower the tendency of bullying behavior, on the contrary, the lower the School Climate, the higher the tendency of bullying behavior.
