Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara workload dan burnout pada karyawan di Surabaya dan effort-reward imbalance berperan dalam memoderasi hubungan antara workload dan burnout. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah karyawan di Surabaya dengan jumlah sampel 384 orang, hal ini ditentukan dengan menggunakan table krejcie didasarkan 5% kesalahan dan mempunyai 95% kepercayaan. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif korelasional, dengan teknik accidental sampling. Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah The Maslach Burnout Inventory, Carga Mental Questionnaire (CarMen-Q), dan Effort-Reward Imbalance Questionnaire (ERI). Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji regresi hierarki. Bedasarkan hasil analisis ini menyatakan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara workload dan burnout, serta effort-reward imbalance memoderasi hubungan antara workload dan burnout. Jadi semakin tinggi effort-reward imbalance yang dialami oleh karyawan, maka semakin kuat hubungan antara workload dan burnout pada karyawan tersebut.
