Abstract

The Marine and Fisheries Office of East Java Province is one of the agencies operating in the field of marine and fisheries. This office has made significant contributions to the development and progress of the community, playing important roles in the fields of marine, fisheries, and facilities for the community, especially fishermen. This study aims to determine the influence of Self Efficacy, Training, and Work Environment on the Performance of Employees at the East Java Provincial Marine and Fisheries Office. This research uses an explanatory research type with a sampling technique that employs non-probability sampling through the convenience sampling method (Sanusi, 2011). The data source used is primary data, and the approach employed in this research is a quantitative method with a population and sample of 65 people using saturated sampling, which includes all employees. In data collection, a questionnaire was used to measure values with a Likert scale, which consists of five levels of answer preferences, using the SPSS 30 tool. The analysis method used was multiple linear regression, the coefficient of determination (R²), partial test (t-test), and simultaneous test (F-test). The results of the multiple linear regression analysis showed that Y = 940 + 0.475(X1) + 0.124(X2) + 0.289(X3). Based on the results of this study, the t-test indicates that Self Efficacy has a significant effect on employee performance. Training has a significant effect on employee performance, and the Work Environment has a significant effect on employee performance. The coefficient of determination (R²) in this study is 0.933, which is greater than 0.05. For the variables of Self Efficacy, Training, and Work Environment, they simultaneously influence the performance of employees in the East Java Provincial Marine and Fisheries Office.
