Abstract
This study aims to examine group communication patterns within the Yuki Community, a fan group of the anime Kimetsu No Yaiba based in Surabaya. Using Irving Janis's Groupthink theory, the research explores how group communication dynamics form and how decisions are made within the community. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study method, utilizing in depth interviews with community members. The findings reveal that while communication is relatively open, there are signs of Groupthink, such as a tendency to seek consensus over critically evaluating alternative decisions. Opinion leaders also influence group discussions' dynamics. Recommendations emphasize the importance of communication moderation and mapping diverse opinions to prevent dominance while maintaining group harmony.
