Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara loneliness dengan kecenderungan nomophobia pada dewasa awal dengan rentang usia 24 sampai dengan 30 tahun. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa dan pekerja usia dewasa awal dengan rentang usia 24 sampai dengan 30 tahun di Surabaya yang berjumlah 223.875 jiwa. Partisipan dalam penelitin ini berjumlah 384 responden yang diambil dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dan skala yang digunakan yaitu skala loneliness dan skala nomophobia. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu teknik analisis spearman rho dengan bantuan program computer IBM Statistical for Social Science (SPSS) versi 27 for Windows. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara loneliness dengan kecenderungan nomophobia pada dewasa awal dengan rentang usia 24 hingga 30 tahun dengan skor r sebesar 0,880 dengan signifikansi 0,000. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa hipotesis yang diajukan dapat diterima.
