Abstract

Vespa fans in Indonesia are very large, currently the Indonesian vespa community ranks second as the largest community after Italy. There are around 40 thousand Vespa users who are still loyal to this vehicle. Judging from this growing number of Vespa fans, the Vespa World Day event held the event in addition to a gathering between Vespa fans around the world, but also as a means of a positive image of the Vespa community to the world community, as seen from the programs organized by the committee that described the positive impression of the Vespa community to the community. This study uses a qualitative research method with the aim of understanding phenomena about what is experienced by the research subject such as behavior, perception, motivation, and other actions. In qualitative research, it is emphasized that research alone or with the help of others is the key to conducting research. Therefore, this research is the key to conducting research. "Vespa World Days 2022" set a new record from the Indonesian World Record Museum (MURDI) because it was held in Asia for the first time, different from its usual tradition in Europe. The conclusion of this strategy shows that the success of Vito and his team in managing the Vespa World Day event lies not only in their ability to plan and execute the event but also in their ability to communicate effectively and manage crises. From the analysis that has been carried out, the following are some recommendations to maximize the use of social media in similar events in the future and to strengthen the positive image of the Vespa community more broadly, namely, More In-depth Content Development, Greater Interaction and Engagement, Utilization of Influencers and Brand Ambassadors, Use of Social Media for Feedback, Post event Follow-up Program.
