Abstract

Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) memiliki peran penting dalam perekonomian Indonesia, namun sering kali menghadapi berbagai kendala, salah satunya adalah risiko barang yang tidak dibayar oleh konsumen. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perlindungan hukum yang dapat diberikan kepada pelaku UMKM dalam transaksi offline ketika menghadapi masalah pembayaran dari konsumen. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan yuridis normatif dengan menganalisis peraturan perundang-undangan yang relevan, seperti Kitab Undang-Undang Hukum Perdata (KUH Perdata), Undang-Undang Perlindungan Konsumen, serta studi kasus yang terkait. Data diperoleh melalui studi kepustakaan dan wawancara dengan pelaku UMKM yang mengalami masalah serupa. Kata Kunci: UMKM, perlindungan hukum, transaksi offline, pembayaran konsumen, KUH Perdata. Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a vital role in Indonesia's economy but often face various challenges, one of which is the risk of unpaid goods by consumers. This study aims to analyze the legal protection available to MSME actors in offline transactions when dealing with payment issues from consumers. This research employs a normative juridical approach by analyzing relevant regulations, such as the Indonesian Civil Code (KUH Perdata), the Consumer Protection Law, and related case studies. Data were collected through literature reviews and interviews with MSME actors who have experienced similar issues.
