Abstract

Pasar tradisional Keputran Selatan merupakan salah satu pasar tertua di Surabaya yang memiliki peran penting dalam aktivitas sosial dan ekonomi masyarakat. Namun, seiring waktu, pasar ini mulai kehilangan daya tariknya karena berbagai permasalahan, seperti penurunan minat pengunjung, aktivitas pedagang ilegal, hingga kondisi fisik bangunan yang tidak memadai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang ulang pasar Keputran Selatan dengan pendekatan arsitektur perilaku guna menciptakan lingkungan yang fungsional, nyaman, dan tetap mencerminkan identitas budaya lokal. Konsep utama dalam redesain ini adalah "Glura Srawung", yang mengedepankan interaksi sosial, keterhubungan ruang, dan keberlanjutan lingkungan. Desain atap pelana kampung dipilih untuk mempertahankan citra khas pasar tradisional, sementara solusi ventilasi stack effect dan penggunaan rain chain diterapkan untuk meningkatkan sirkulasi udara serta efisiensi pengelolaan air hujan. Zona pasar dirancang sesuai kebutuhan komoditas dengan pembagian lantai yang menciptakan sirkulasi yang efisien. Melalui desain ini, pasar Keputran Selatan diharapkan mampu menjadi pusat aktivitas ekonomi dan sosial yang modern namun tetap menjaga nilai tradisional, serta memberikan solusi atas berbagai permasalahan yang dihadapi. Redesain ini juga menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan arsitektur perilaku dapat menjawab tantangan perancangan pasar tradisional dalam konteks urban.
