Abstract

This research aims to find out the relationship between self-control and core worship i enale pop ret in the ery anile the orchers celebrity worship in early adult female K-pop fans. This research design uses quantitative correlational research methods. This research was conducted with participants as many as 96 young adult K-pop fans who were taken using incidental sampling techniques. The instruments used in this research were the self-control scale from Tangney (2004) and the celebrity attitude scale from Maltby (2005). Data collection was carried out using a Google form which was distributed via social media. The data obtained was then analyzed using the Spearman's rho analysis technique with the help of the SPSS 16 for Windows program. Based on the results of data analysis, it shows that the p value = 0.236 (p> 0.05), which means there is no relationship between self-control and celebrity worship. So the hypothesis in this research is rejected.
