Abstract

The study, entitled Interpersonal Communication of Interfaith Youth in Maintaining the Harmony of Residents of Pancasila Village in Lamongan, aims to find out how interpersonal communication of interfaith youths in PancasilaLamongan Village. In this research uses descriptive qualitative research type. The data obtained by researchers through interviews conducted online through the WhatsApp application with informants, namely representatives of each interfaith youth. From the results of this study it is known that interpersonal communication among interfaith youth is done directly through the forum as well as privately and indirectly through whatsapp. Interpersonal communication carried out by interfaith youth is quite appropriate by applying the form of interpersonal communication, namely dialogue and sharing, by also applying symbolic interactions including gestures, vocals, and body expressions in every communication they do. Interpersonal communicatin carried out by interfaith youth was also carried out to discuss activities aimed at maintaining harmony and harmony in the residents of Pancasila Village Lamongan.
