Abstract

One of the challenges in early childhood education is to develop engaging and effective teaching methods for introducing basic concepts such as letters. This research focuses on the creation of an Android-based educational game specifically designed for children aged 3-5 years. The game aims to introduce letters to young children through interactive and enjoyable learning methods. The lack of fundamental knowledge of letters in young children often acts as a barrier in the early stages of reading and writing, which can impact their academic progress in the future. Games are often perceived as mere entertainment, but in the age of technology, they have evolved into effective learning tools. In this context, the development of an Android game for early childhood education is highly relevant. This game is not just entertainment; it is an interactive learning tool. This research specifically centers on the creation of an Android game to introduce letters to children aged 3-5 years. The research method employed is descriptive qualitative with interviews as the data collection method. The game has undergone testing and is expected to be effective in letter learning. It can aid in the development of early reading and writing skills in young children.
