Abstract

UI/UX design is very important in website development because with an attractive and comfortable appearance, users will often visit the website. In its development, there are many methods used in the manufacturing process, one of which is the Task Centered Design System (TCSD) method. TCSD has 4 stages, namely identification, user requirements analysis, design through scenario, and evaluation.The website of SMK 17 Agustus 1945 Surabaya makes motivation the object of research because many people think that the appearance of the website is less attractive and the information is considered to be incomplete among students who use the website. Apart from that, the website is also often opened by prospective students or parents who want to register their children for school at SMK 17 August 1945 Surabaya. Based on interviews with 50 students out of a total of 718 students, many said that the SMK 17 Agustus 1945 website was still less interesting and less informative. This research aims to make the appearance of the SMK 17 Agustus 1945 Surabaya website better and add general information so that many prospective students register at the school. After going through the design process from wireframe to prototype and evaluated using the guerilla testing method by compiling a questionnaire appropriate to the initial stage and testing the prototype on respondents. Based on the results of the questionnaire, the results obtained were that the ease of use assessment was 86%, the completeness of the menu and information was 95.6%, the appearance was 94.5%, and the color was 65%. These results are in accordance with the aim, namely a design display that is easy to understand and users get the latest information from SMK 17 August 1945 Surabaya.
