Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the relationship between peer social support and subjective well-being in street children. This study uses quantitative methods using correlational methods. The sample in the study was 100 participants with the criteria of street children aged 13-18 years. This research scale uses a scale developed by the researcher with a Cronbach alpha value of 0.983 which indicates the value of subjective well-being is reliable. The sampling technique used purposive sampling method using a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques using Spearman Rho analysis. The results of the Spearman Rho analysis show that there is a relationship between peer social support and subjective well-being getting a score of 0.797 with a significance of 0.000, which means that there is a significant relationship between peer social support and subjective well-being. This means that the higher the social support received, the higher the subjective well-being of street children.
