Abstract

The rapid development of technology has resulted in major changes that are quite rapid in various fields, one of which is in the livestock sector. One of the changes that has emerged is the development of smart cow cages based on the Internet of Things. This smart cowshed is designed to make it easier for farmers to carry out their daily activities. With the development of IoT technology, farmers can perform their tasks remotely or when they are not in the farm area. They can do their job by simply sending commands through Telegram. One of them is being able to give orders to give cows to drink by sending a message on telegram, so that the cows can get their drinking water. In addition, the cowshed security system must also be considered, the cowshed safety system can be improved using this IoT technology as well. The farmer can do the command to lock the cage door just by sending a message to lock the door, then the cage door is locked and can also provide to activate one of the magnets that will detect if the door has been forcibly opened. So that with the attention to the development of security in the cowshed, farmers can calmly leave their animals without feeling afraid if the animals come out or there are people outside the farm entering their territory. This, IoT technology not only improves time efficiency, but also the welfare of livestock farmers.
