Abstract

Sistem Interlock Rubber Tyred Gantry (RTG) berfungsi sebagai sistem keamanan yang menjamin keandalan alat saat beroperasi. Sistem interlock trolley (pergerakan yang dinamakan gerakan trolley pada unit RTG) bisa dikatakan memiliki kekurangan. Saat melakukan pergerakan trolley, bagian pengaman yaitu support roda trolley sering mengalami gesekan dengan rel roda sehingga terjadi aus pada bagian support roda tersebut. Oleh karena itu, modifikasi interlock trolley perlu dilakukan yang sekaligus menjadi acuan penulis dalam menulis buku ini. Pembuatan sistem kendali motor pada pergerakan trolley unit Crane Rubber Tyred Gantry dapat membantu teknisi untuk melakukan monitoring tanpa harus melakukan pengecekan secara langsung dan juga dapat membantu teknisi dalam menjaga keandalan alat karena dilakukan secara otomatis tanpa melakukan breakdown untuk melakukan maintenance akibat kerusakan yang timbul karena sistem yang kurang sempurna.
