Abstract

Di Era Teknologi Yang Maju ini Khususnya bidang Elektronika banyak sekali Menciptakan Suatu Teknologi yang memudahkan pekerjaan Manusia seperti contoh pada penetasan Telur Bebek. Perkembangbiakan bebek saat masih membentuk telur dapat dilakukan dengan metode pengeraman oleh induk bebek atau menggunakan metode penetasan menggunakan mesin tetas. Pada fase penetasan atau pengeraman telur peternak bebek melakukan candling pada telur untuk mendeteksi embrio telur agar dapat diketahui fertilitas telur. Peternak bebek kebanyakan mendeteksi fertilitas telur secara manual. Pengamatan manual dilakukan dengan pengamatan secara langsung oleh peternak bebek. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeteksi keberadaan embrio pada telur bebek (fertilitas telur bebek) agar dapat dibedakan antara telur fertile dan infertile dengan bantuan pengolahan citra. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode deteksi tepi operator canny untuk identifikasi embrio telur ayam buras. Desain inkubator ini dilengkapi dengan perangkat keras. Perangkat keras terdiri dari boks incubator, komponen instalasi lampu pijar 5W sebagai pemanas, wadah air sebagai penambah kelembaban. Selain itu, Arduino Atmega 2560 yang menjadi otak pengontrol terhadap sensor suhu dan kelembaban inkubator (DHT22), penampil LCD untuk pembacaan suhu dan kelembaban, I2C untuk standar komunikasi serial dua arah menggunakan dua saluran yang didesain khusus untuk mengirim maupun menerima data. Disamping itu, Arduino IDE sebagai perangkat lunak dalam pemrograman kerja mikrokontroler.
