Abstract

This research aims to determine the relationship between Leisure Boredom and the Tendency of Addiction to Social Media Tik Tok in Generation Z. This research is quantitative research using correlational quantitative methods. The sampling technique in this study used purposive sampling with a sample of 120 generation Z. The results of the analysis using product moment correlation showed that leisure boredom with a tendency to be addicted to social media Tik Tok in generation Z obtained a correlation result of 0.753 with a significant score of p = 0.000 < 0.05, which means there is significant positive relationship between leisure boredom and the tendency to be addicted to social media Tik Tok in generation Z. This can be interpreted as the higher the leisure boredom, the higher the tendency to be addicted to social media Tik Tok in generation Z.
