Abstract

Sambaran pada kawat penghantar di saluran transmisi dapat menyebabkan masalah penyaluran energi listrik. Gelombang surja petir dapat merambat ke peralatan di gardu induk dan mengganggu isolasi peralatan karena ketajamannya yang besar.Sambaran surja petir dapat menyebabkan gelombang berjalan, yang menyebabkan tegangan yang lebih tinggi. Ini terjadi di daerah yang agak jauh dari Arrester. Oleh karena itu, kecuraman gelombang surja yang datang dan tegangan kerja Arrester dapat digunakan untuk menentukan jarak ideal yang diizinkan antara Arrester dan peralatan yang dilindungi. Ini akan memastikan bahwa gagasan perlindungan terhadap peralatan tercapai sepenuhnya. Setelah dilakukan Analisa dan perhitungan, didapatkan hasil arus yang mengalir pada Lightning Arrester transformator sebesar 3,3 kA. Maka kelas arus pada 10 kA sudah baik. Presentase faktor perlindungan yang didapatkan yaitu 20%. Diperoleh jarak maksimal penempatan antara Lightning Arrester dan Transformator yang dilindungi yaitu sejauh 28,5m, sedangkan jarak penempatan dilapangan sejauh 21,9m. Jadi masih jauh dibawah jarak maksimal. Dari hasil perhitungan, didapatkan nilai tegangan maksimum yang dapat diterima adalah 650 kV, nilai itu sama persis dengan nilai TID Transformator yaitu 650 kV. Maka Lightning Arrester mampu memberikan proteksi pada Transformator dari gangguan surja petir. Dari pehitungan jarak yang terpasang dengan jarak hasil perhitungan tergolong masih aman. Jika dibandingkan dengan SPLN 7: 1978 No 32 Pasal 4 tentang Pemilihan dan Pemasangan Penangkap Petir yaitu untuk penangkap petir kelas 150kV jarak antara penangkap petir dengan Transformator tidak melebihi 80m.
