Abstract

Energi listrik yang didistribusikan tidak diterima sebanyak energi listrik yang ditransmisikan, sehingga tidak semua energi listrik yang ditransmisikan dapat dijual, menyebabkan PT PLN mengalami kerugian biaya akibat kehilangan energi sebagai penyedia energi listrik kepada konsumen. Dengan pertumbuhan jumlah penduduk dan infrastruktur yang pesat, kebutuhan listrik meningkat dari tahun ke tahun, sehingga arus beban pun meningkat, menjadi salah satu penyebab susut daya listrik. Fenomena susut daya terjadi saat energi listrik mengalir melalui jaringan distribusi, yang dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor seperti resistansi kabel. Dalam penelitian ini, perhitungan dilakukan untuk mengestimasi susut daya akibat resistansi saluran dan rugi trafo yang dihasilkan oleh arus beban yang mengalir, dengan mengabaikan susut daya yang diakibatkan oleh induktansi dan kapasitansi. Hasil perhitungan menunjukkan susut daya total pada penyulang Wiratno sebesar 25.070 watt (0,72%) berbanding dengan daya total sebesar 3.495.850 watt. Susut daya yang terjadi masih normal tidak melebihi ketentuan sebesar 5%. Dengan susut daya total antar saluran berkisar antara 432 watt sampai 939 watt. Susut daya antar saluran terkecil terdapat pada gardu trafo AE124 sebesar 432 watt, sedangkan susut terbesar terdapat pada gardu trafo AE210 sebesar 939 watt. Rugi total trafo berkisar antara 432 watt sampai 938 watt, dengan rugi terkecil terdapat pada trafo AE125 sebesar 432 watt, sementara rugi terbesar terdapat pada trafo AE211 sebesar 939 watt.
