Abstract
The pharmaceutical sector has a strategic role in supporting public health and the economy. Pharmaceutical sub-sector companies in Indonesia show significant growth. Stock price fluctuations in this sector attract attention for more in-depth analysis. Financial indicators such as return on equity, earnings per share, and debt to equity ratio are often used to assess company performance and predict stock price movements. This research aims to prove and analyze the influence of the relationship between return on equity, earnings per share, and debt to equity ratio which influence stock prices with inflation as a moderating variable in pharmaceutical sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesian stock exchange for the 2019-2022 period. The research used quantitative methods. The type of data used is documentary data where data is obtained from secondary data in the form of financial reports of companies listed on the Indonesian stock exchange. The type of sampling used was purposive sampling with predetermined criteria, and found the results of ten companies that met the sample criteria. The data analysis techniques used are outer model analysis, inner model and hypothesis testing. The analytical tool used in this research is smartPLS3. The results of this study explain that return on equity, earnings per share, and debt to equity ratio do not have a significant effect on share prices in pharmaceutical sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesian stock exchange for the 2019-2022 period. Inflation cannot significantly moderate the relationship between return on equity, earnings per share, and debt to equity ratio on share prices in pharmaceutical sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesian stock exchange for the 2019-2022 period.
