Abstract

To develop a tourist attraction with optimal resource management is demonstrated through the suitability of entrance fees to the actual value of benefits felt by tourists including the costs of maintaining the tourist attraction. This tomb is an educational environmental empowerment tour. According to the Mabarrot Sunan Bonang Tuban Foundation, the factors that contributed to the increase in visitors during the commemoration of the Sunan Bonang Tuban haul were events that brought in many tourists or pilgrims. The study approach used by researchers is qualitative, which means that primary and secondary data are used to describe and analyze events, phenomena, activities and attitudes of individuals and groups. SWOT analysis is the method used for analysis. This research produces several strategies that can be implemented, including the S-O, S-T, W-O, and W-T strategies. The suggestions that emerge from this research can be used to increase the potential for religious tourism at the Sunan Bonang Tuban Tomb. 1) Invite the government to work together to improve infrastructure. 2) Increase human resources in the community to keep the environment and areas where they live so that they are always kept clean. 3) Improving the quality of tourism management 4) Creating new innovations that are not the same as other tourism products. The strategy for developing the religion of the Sunan Bonang Tomb as a supporter of guardian tourism in Tuban Regency has the aim of increasing visits to Tuban Regency and increasing PAD in the tourism sector. Improving infrastructure to support the development of religious tourism which has quite good natural potential and ancestral heritage. The policy creates innovative, professional and highly competitive human resource quality. This program increases the role of the community in developing religious tourism.
