Abstract
Pada motor matic sistem transmisinya menggunakan transmisi otomatis pada kendaraan yang menggunakan transmisi otomatis pengoperasiannya tidak menggunakan perpindahan roda gigi melainkan menggunakan pulley dan belt yang dikenal dengan CVT. Sistem CVT (Continuous Variable Transmission) adalah sistem transmisi daya dari mesin menuju roda belakang melalui V-belt yang menghubungkan antara drive pulley untuk menggerakkan driven pulley menggunakan gaya sentrifugal yang terjadi pada komponen-komponennya, CVT (Continuosly Variable Transmission ) terdiri dari drive pulley dan driven pulley. Pada pully primer terdapat speed governor yang berfungsi merubah besar kecilnya diameter pully primer yang sebagai rumahan dari roller sentrifugal yang akan menerima gaya sentrifugal akibat putaran crankshaf. Pada pully primer terdapat speed governor yang berfungsi merubah besar kecilnya diameter pully primer yang sebagai rumahan dari roller sentrifugal. penggerak pada sepeda motor matic ialah salah satu komponen yang penting pada sepeda motor sebagaimana pada matic yang berfungsi sebagai pemindah kecepatan sesuai rpm mesin secara otomatis dan tidak mamakai gigi transmisi namun menggunakan sabuk V-belt sebagai penerus atau penghubung putaran antara kedua pulley. Puli sebagai komponen yang berfungsi untuk mengatur berat kecilnya diameterpuli yang berhubungan dengan perbandingan reduksi putaran mesin, selain itu puli juga berfungsi untuk mengatur akselerasi pada sepda motor. Berdasarkan hasil penelitiantentang analisa pengaruh variasi kemiringan sudut variator (primary pulley), ukuran v-belt dan berat roller terhadap akselerasi dan performa pada motor matic mio j 110cc dapat disimpulkan, untuk daya maksimal yang dapat dicapai di motor Yamaha Mio J 110cc terletak pada variasi pulley 130 dengan roller 10gram dan menggunakan V-belt variasi dengan nilai 7,855 hp dan 6,085 Nm, untuk torsi maksimal yang dapat dicapai di motor Yamaha Mio J 110cc terletak pada variasi pulley 130 dengan roller 8gram dan menggunakan V-belt original dengan nilai 7,555 hp dan 6,57Nm.
