Abstract

The game is an entertainment media that can be played and favored by any variety of ages. However, there are types of games that require the user to remain in a specific position for a long time. That matter makes the user run into symptoms of motor coordination due to lack of movement while playing. Based on that reason, this thesis focused on creating a game that included into the category of Endless Runner. This type of that game provides the rules of the game by making the user race to achieve the highest score. The creation of the games in this thesis utilizing Microsoft Kinect which can make the user can control the character of the game by moving the limbs. Then the movement of the body will be detected by the sensor. Microsoft Kinect will detect the frame of the user's joint point and determine the point of the coordinate, if a joint shift occurs according to the specified coordinates, then the Kinect sensor will detect a command to control the game. Microsoft Kinect can be one of the game control devices on this thesis based on Usability Testing test results using the SUS method and get a score of 75. According to the SUS method Score category guide, the score is included in the good category.
