Abstract

Public service is the activity of providing services to the community. This service is usually carried out by the government or state apparatus. Because it concerns the lives of many people, public services require different concepts, designs, values and systems from personal services. SATPAS Colombo Surabaya (SIM Administration Organizing Unit) is one of the government agencies in East Java, especially the city of Surabaya, which was formed to speed up the provision of public services in the form of goods. The formation of the Colombo Surabaya Satpas aims to facilitate public services to the community. Satpas is defined as a government agency that has an interest in providing satisfaction in making driving permits. This research uses an analysis of excellent service in processing driving permits at the Colombo Surabaya Satpas. The results of this research highlight the importance of excellent service in processing driving licenses at the Colombo Surabaya Satpas, especially in the mechanisms and procedures for driving license processing services.
