Abstract

The Kalimati Long Storage Reservoir is a reservoir that was built in 2019 and began operating in 2021. This reservoir is on the border between Sidoarjo Regency and Mojokerto Regency. Previously, the area where this reservoir was built was an abandoned river, but this river was converted into a water dam with the aim of adding raw materials or water sources which will be managed by PDAM Tirta Sidoarjo and PDAM Mojokerto Regency. The construction of this reservoir aims to preserve water resources, in accordance with Government Regulation no. 37 of 2010 concerning Dams Article paragraph 2 which explains that "The construction and management of dams and their reservoirs is carried out as an effort to conserve water resources". The method used in this research is to refer to several main ideas, theories and empirical problem formulations in several literatures, which are expected to provide a way to optimize land area and crop production results from year to year. The results of this research explain that the reliable discharge calculation explains the reliable discharge using the calculation P(%) = m/(n+1) x 100%, so that data of 83.33% emerges which is used as material for calculating effective rainfall on plants. rice and secondary crops. Another previous calculation explained that the projected population of Mojoanyar sub-district in 2031 was 50,667 people using geometric calculations with water consumption of 55.42 liters/second. Water consumption at public hydrants reached 18.47 liters/second, water consumption at community health centers was 0.023 liters/second, while for places of worship, water consumption was 1.60 liters/second for mosques and water consumption was 4.28 liters/second. for the prayer room. The conclusion from this calculation is that the amount of raw water consumption in Mojoanyar District is 80.95 liters/second.
