Abstract

Organizational communication is established in the process of an organization, while management is a way to achieve a goal in an effective and efficient manner. An organization is a place for students to hone their abilities by participating in various activities in an organization. For example, in the regional organization Imbus (Bojonegoro Untag Surabaya Student Association). In this case, the goals and targets to be achieved in Imbus are to be able to carry out their duties and authorities that have been designed in the Imbus work map for the 2022-2023 period. In the work map, Imbus divides it into four Divisions, including: Education Division, Talent Interest Division, Social Service Division, and Communication and Information Division. In these four Divisions, they have designed work programs that they want to achieve in the future. The purpose of this study is to determine the work plan for the 2022-2023 Imbus period, whether the implementation of its work program can be carried out properly or is inversely proportional to the plan that has been set. The method used in this study uses a Qualitative research method with a descriptive approach which in this case will describe the data in the form of sentences obtained during interviews, the theory used uses communication management theory which includes Planning, Organizing, Actuating, Controlling. With the theory used, the results will be obtained on how systematic the Imbus work program for the 2022-2023 period runs. The results of this study are that the implementation of the Imbus work program for the 2022-2023 period uses a wheel communication pattern in its communication process, so that in the communication process there is no continuity regarding work orders from the head of the organization. So that the implementation of the work program is not implemented properly and does not meet the expected targets and goals.
