Abstract
This research aims to reveal how audiences form relationships and respond to the use of #Netizensalwaystrue, as well as the resistance that arises on social media X, using Computer Mediated Communication theory and Social Network Theory. The research method used is quantitative network analysis with a descriptive approach, using tweet data from social media X which has activity on #Netizensalwaystrue. Key findings include a centralized communication network with a few dominant accounts, especially the @0 account. Hashtags are used to spread information and shape public opinion regarding the "netizens are always right" phenomenon. Resistance from the public arises in response to this dominance of opinion, with online communities forming to resist this dominance. This research applies CMC theory and social network theory to analyze network communication structures. This research provides an overview of the important role of hashtags in exchanging information and forming public opinion, and shows how resistance emerges as a response to the phenomenon of opinion dominance on social media. It is hoped that this research can become a reference for further research that uses network analysis. The next research suggestion is to find out the influence of the #NetizenalwaysTrue communication network on resistance in influencing the audience's perspective on social media X?
