Abstract
Rapidly developing information technology provides access to communication on social media. Citizens con now easily interact and make social media a gathering place. The existence of comment features an each social media platform makes citizens free to express and convey positive to negative sentences. The freedom to comment affects ottitudes and behaviors in speech, so many sentences in the form of accusations to threats are freely in the comments column. The bandwagon effect and cyber bullying are unconsciously present as phenomena that are now easily encountered. The purpose of this research is to analyte the phenomenon of bandwagon effect and cyber bullying (Virtual Ethnography Analysis on Instagram account @tamaratyasmaru). By using qualitative methods, the results show that participation activities are carried out on the basis of tresting and agreeing with other people's comments while some informants admit their unconsciousness when giving negative comments. The statement confirms the existence of the Bandwagon effect phenomenon on Tamara Tyasmgra's Instagram account which is considered a consequence for Tamara, considering that she is a public figure. The absence of restrictions on producers and consumers of content on social media is also the reason why informants consider what is done is commonplace and the right of account owners.
